    • I have been working with Sean as a coach for the last 4 years. When I first started with Sean I had competed in 2 meets and had a 1847 raw total but had recently suffered a back injury resulting in several herniated discs, since working with Sean we were successful in rehabbing my back and went on to compete in 7 meets over the course of the next several years, always hitting lift and total PRs every meet I have gone on to hit a 2226 wrapped total and 2121 raw total. Sean is a really good coach to have in your corner but he’s a better person that has your back and makes sure your overall well being is first priority and that’s what separates him from other coaches.

    • Sean was my very first powerlifting coach and remained my coach for three consecutive years. During that time, he helped me get two state records and a world record in the bench press (178 lb at 123 lb body weight). Additionally, he helped me reach over a two times bodyweight squat (265 lb) and a 345 lb deadlift. He is one of the smartest people I know, all of his programming is based off research, and he understands and focuses on minutiae details related to exercise form. He instills the importance of overall health, both mentally and physically, and is there for his athletes in times of need. I highly recommend him for powerlifting coaching, general fitness coaching, or if you just need a reliable friend!

    • I started with Sean around the beginning of December 2019. We talked for about 2 hours via phone to get to know each other more and the approach. He’s very analytical and knows more than most people I’ve come across. From the brutal yet effective volume blocks to calculated meet preps, Sean is definitely one of the best out there.     • Coach Danner is probably one of the most under rated coaches in Florida. Not only is he knowledgeable in identifying weakness that are holding you back from maximal performance, but his programs are written in such a way that you pushing yourself everyday and become better with each workout. He is able to explain things in a simple matter that even us “meatheads” can understand. He is affordable and is someone who is in coaching because he truly enjoys creating stronger people.

    • I started training at Pinellas Barbell under Sean Danner about 12 weeks ago. The guy is clearly too smart for his own good, and makes me a program specifically for me and what I need to make real improvements for what I am going for which is strongest man on earth. Yes, it is the hardest program I have ever done , it is not easy. Yet, I am getting what I asked for , PRs almost every time I lift with ease.     • My name is Andrea…AKA A, AK, Dre…I’m an international elite powerlifter in the 75kilo class. I hold the Florida state squat record currently. I wasn’t always a powerlifter. 4 years ago I was a cross fitter. This is where I met Sean, one of the owners. At the time he was teaching us Olympic lifting.
